So what is my therapy?


  • treatment intended to relieve or heal a disorder
  • the treatment of mental or psychological disorders by psychological means.

For this blog, my intent is to ponder all the various things we can use to get through day to day, a tough spot or something to make us happy. It’s going o be a journey so I plan to write one every couple  of weeks or so. Feel free to chime in on any of them or add your own. I look forward to hearing from you.

My therapies vary from physical fitness to decorating to reading. (note: hubby will be ecstatic I didn’t say shopping , lol)

The mantra is from the great Jimmy Dugan in A  League of Their Own.

Let’s begin 2016 with resolutions. Mine is to do one thing better each day in these categories : wife, mom, at my job, physically , mentally,financially and homemaker.

This may sound vague and completely unmeasurable but hear me out. I figure if I do one thing in each category better than the day before, I’ll be successful at getting the end result I want.  On the measurable component, I use a MomAgenda planner and am keeping tabs on some of the categories. For Physical fitness, I use a fitplanner to document workouts and progress. For homemaker, I have some things lined up: cooking class on meal planning and some organization projects. More those in another post. You get the drift right?
